When you ask me to forgive,
Promises in the past,
Promises on the present,
Promises of the future,
Lying quietly in my hands
But just as when i try to grab,
I can’t catch hold of them.
Your promises are in vain.
Well, i’m afraid,
I’ll never forgive you,
For giving me hope,
Bringing me faith,
Leading me on.
When promises you made, broken.
Will we end up that way,
This lingers in my brain.
Don’t let this be a waste of time,
Making me wait in vain.
